“ Delicious! all homemade meats, sauce, and crust. It’s a pizza pie. We got the All Meat Pizza Pie small and the Italian salad for 2. Perfect amount of food. Enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. Come try this place! ”
“ One of the best pizzas I've had in quite a while. Thin crust pizza (ordered extra crispy) was excellent. We had the all-meat version - the pepperoni was flavorful and crispy around the edges and the homemade Italian sausage was the perfect compliment. Great selection of pasta as well. Give them a try and you won't regret it. ”
“ I went to the original (if you know you know) way back in the day. Lived right down the street from it for years at a time that predates The Landing. Moved away. Moved back. Found out that the man, the myth, the legend was back in town. I went here as soon as I could. It is everything I always remembered, but somehow better. The food is downright amazing. Pictured is the spaghetti and meat sauce, cannelloni, beef and cheese, and spin dip with bread. I will return here until the cows come home. As much as I'd like this place to be a local secret, there is no way in good conscience that I can keep it to myself. Your Google search may make it appear that it's a little out of the way, but I'm here to tell you that it is worth it, and it's closer than you think. ”
“ Excellent pizza and cannolis!! We got a small "All Meat Specialty" Chicago style pizza which was plenty for 2 adults for lunch. The pizza had a nice crispy bottom and edge with amazing home-made Italian sausage as one of the meats. We aren't typically Italian sausage fans, but could have made a meal out of those alone! The cannolis were really fresh, crispy and delish... not the 'filled all day so they're soggy' kind. It was a nice way to finish our meal. Highly recommend this place! Oh, be sure you aren't in a hurry, we were there for 1.5 hours! Deep dish pizzas can take a while anywhere you go. ”
“ Wow excellent pizza the flavor was incredible, the crust was different but in a very good way. Easily the best meal my family has had all week and it wasn't even close. Even my picky kids found things to love. My 16 year old really liked the cheese bread she said the crust was her favorite part and my 11 year old loved the wings. The Mr Gilberti special was just awesome we really loved the flavor and the best way I can describe the crust is like a thick cracker but it was paired perfectly with the toppings. The meat was just right for the pizza and the sauce just completed the whole package. The chef came out to talk to us and told us how he'd been here for decades since he started so young. I just wish we could get this kind of pizza and service where we live. If you're on the fence just drop in and get some you won't regret it. ”
“ Tried Mr. E’s Gilbert in Branson, Missouri while on vacation, and honestly, the food was amazing! We were craving pizza and ended up getting their Chicago-style pizza one of their signature menu items (I forgot the name, but it was so good!). I also had the chicken sandwich, which was pretty classic and solid. We shared garlic knots and spinach dip too both tasty and comforting. The place has a hidden gem vibe, with a slightly vintage Italian aesthetic—think red, white, and green decor. The atmosphere was okay, although I did feel a little bit off about some of the people around. Still, it didn’t ruin the overall vibe. Shoutout to our waitress she was sweet, attentive, and made the experience better. If you’re in Branson and in the mood for pizza or just a cozy, casual bite, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try! One surprising and really sweet touch was how we were greeted: there was a man outside who kindly opened the door for us. It was such a polite and thoughtful gesture really unique and made a great first impression! ”

“ First time Dec.2024. Original style Chicago pizza. We had cheese pizza and one of the specialty options. Lots of flavor, the garlic bread was awesome!!! We loved the fresh ingredients. Personally, it's not my style, but everything was tasty. The crust is like a pie crust, harder and crunchier... The server was very helpful and friendly. It is a pan pizza with a thick layer of toppings, so we had a lot left over we took home. As a pizza fan I recommend this business. Interesting spin on the pizza making for me. Enjoy! Iva ”
